The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (<strong>SECO<\/strong>) has announced a return to normal.<\/p>\n<h3>The key points<\/h3>\n<p>The Federal Council wants to reduce the duration of short-time work compensation from <strong>24 to 12 months<\/strong>, in stages. Federal experts consider the economic outlook favourable to a gradual return to normal, ArcInfo reports.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday <strong>27 October 2026<\/strong>, <strong>the Employers' Association of the Swiss Watch Industry<\/strong>, which brings together watchmaking and microtechnology employers, said it \u201ctakes note, without surprise\u201d of this decision.<\/p>\n<h3>Key
